What does CEMS do?

CEMS enables GTEC to evaluate educational credentials such as certificates, diplomas and degrees obtained locally or abroad and provide an evaluation report indicating their equivalence.

GTEC provides credential evaluation services to help employers, educational institutions and other organizations understand foreign and local educational qualifications.

How the Service Works

Apply

Submit your credential evaluation application through CEMS.

Pay the applicable evaluation processing fee.

Submitted credentials may be verified with the relevant institution.

GTEC assesses the qualification and prepares the evaluation report.

Important Guidelines

Please review these requirements before submitting an application.

What CEMS Does Not Evaluate

  • Result slips and letters of attestation.
  • Certificates of participation or seminar/workshop attendance.
  • Courses from incomplete programmes.
  • Individual course grades or workplace ranking.

Documents and Translation

  • Official academic records should be submitted.
  • Non-English documents must be accompanied by certified English translations.
  • Relevant certificates must accompany an evaluation request.
  • GTEC reserves the right to verify submitted documents.

Change of Name or Address

  • Certificates bearing different names should be accompanied by relevant supporting documents.
  • Requests to change a mailing address should be submitted in writing.

Processing and Possible Delays

  • Evaluation is not an instant service.
  • Verification responses may affect processing time.
  • Additional research or information may occasionally be required.
  • Applicants should submit requests well ahead of required deadlines.
